  • For dancers with multiple solos, only the highest scoring entry will be eligible for overall awards.
  • Title Winners will be selected from all soloists based on the amount of solo entries in each ability level and age category. There is no guarantee how many title awards will be given and title winner selections will not be based on score alone.
  • Academy Level: If an Academy level routine is adjudicated at 288.1 or higher, they will automatically be moved up to the Extreme level and their score will be adjusted to the parameters of the Extreme level. In this occurrence, they are still eligible for overall awards in the Extreme Level with their new score.
  • Academy Level routines must contain primarily (50% or more) Academy level dancers.
  • Vocal, Modeling & Photogenic Categories are for adjudication only and do not qualify for Overall Awards.
  • Ties for overall/top scores (first place) will be broken by judges panel and based on technical merit.
  • An incomplete routine that is re-competed will be adjudicated only and will not be eligible for overall awards.
  • Movements, music and costuming that are deemed inappropriate for a family audience may receive deductions in their score or be disqualified without refund– at the sole discretion of the judges.
  • Dancers who are not performing at their scheduled performance time and who are found to be rehearsing may receive deductions in their score at the discretion of backstage manager or competition director.
  • Unsportsmanlike behavior of any kind by dancers, parents, teachers or guests of studios may result in disqualification of dancers/studios without refund, at the discretion of the competition director.
  • Judges scoring is final.
  • Any questions or concerns about rules, judging or awards must be brought to the competition director only by studio owner only.
